Founded with a passion for creating delicious and functional beverages, Merlin’s Beverages began as a small local brand dedicated to quality and innovation. Since 2015, the company has become a trusted name in vitamin-enriched waters, carbonated drinks, and lemonades, offering products appreciated by consumers for both their taste and functional benefits.
History
From the very beginning, our vision has been to create drinks that combine great taste with added vitamins and minerals. Our initial investments focused on building a modern production facility aligned with European standards, as well as developing recipes enriched with vitamins and minerals, inspired by international nutrition trends.
In 2015, we launched vitamin aqua, a line of non-carbonated vitamin-enriched beverages designed for active consumers. Its success strengthened the company’s position as a trendsetter in the vitamin drinks segment.
In 2018, we expanded our portfolio with Pop Cola, a Romanian brand of carbonated beverages developed as a local, accessible, and balanced alternative.
Since 2020, our investments have focused on sustainability: using recyclable packaging, reducing plastic, modernizing production lines, and optimizing energy consumption. We have continued to innovate our recipes and diversify our range to meet consumer preferences.

From small-batch production to national and international distribution, Merlin’s Beverages has expanded its portfolio to include brands such as vitamin aqua, Pop Cola, Montana, Lemonade, Carbonated Lemonade and Plafar, becoming a leader in the vitamin water category in Romania, with a market share of approximately 85% in 2023.
